Home Depot hackers also stole 53M email addresses

Hackers stole 53 million email addresses in addition to customers' card data, Home Depot said Thursday.

The Associated Press reports the file containing email addresses did not contain passwords or other sensitive personal information.

The news comes on top of the chain's disclosure in September of the breach of 56 million plastic cards.
