Home Depot drops 4 programs from installation offerings

Home Depot is laying off workers across the country as it cuts four underperforming installation offerings.

The company is winding down installations of roofing, siding, insulation and gutters.

Home Depot spokesperson Stephen Holmes said the number of impacted workers was an "extremely small percentage" of its more than 450,000 employees.
