Hollywood personal trainer and Springfield native Jason Walsh filed suit against Relics Antique Mall.
Walsh, whose clients have included Matt Damon, Bradley Cooper and Brie Larson, alleges a copy of Mark Twain's "A Tramp Abroad" he bought at the Springfield store wasn't a rare version as claimed.
Walsh reportedly paid around $2,700 for the book before he says he found out it was worthless.
Relics has not offered a refund. The owner told the Springfield News-Leader that all customers have the chance to examine and fully research any item before purchasing it.
