Project description: Comprising three buildings and 35 units, the Holland Park Apartments are set to make history in Springfield as the first structures built on stilts within a floodplain, according to Valiant Group officials. The buildings are designed to integrate with the nearby South Creek Greenway Trail, they report. Each building is designed to be 16,000 square feet, Valiant officials say, and one of the three is already complete. The project architect is Ireland Architects Inc., and engineers are Own Inc., civil; RTM Engineering Consultants LLC, structural; and Jennifer Winslow PE LLC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
