The numbers look good but government officials are cautioning against any premature celebrations that the U.S. is out of the woods when it comes to jobs.
The economy added 288,000 jobs in April, according to the Department of Labor, and the unemployment rate fell to 6.3 percent, its lowest level since September 2008.
These statistics indicate the recovery is still moving forward but the Bureau of Labor Statistics states the unemployment rate is a reflection of fewer people joining the workforce rather than leaving their jobs, CNNMoney reports.
