The city would pay Hilton a fixed management fee of $30,000 for the first year, adjusted each year thereafter for inflation, to manage the city-owned 604-space garage.
A length of the agreement has not been determined yet, according to city Public Information Director Jerry Adams.
Hilton is leasing 295 spaces for the 293-room Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, slated to open simultaneously with the convention center in August. Revenue from those spaces would go to Hilton. The city would hold on to 309 public spaces and collect revenue from those.
Hilton’s management of the garage would include all maintenance, security, repairs and collection of parking fees.
The board could consider the proposal in late July, Adams said.
