Project description: Herrman Lumber Co. is relocating from 332 S. Glenstone Ave. to Brookline. The new location will have a small retail outlet, along with corporate offices and warehousing and delivery operations. Store manager Kent Phillips said the move allows room for expansion – 12 acres versus the company’s current five-acres – and will be closer to construction projects that are generally in the outlying areas of Springfield. Herrman Lumber Co. was founded in 1917 and has 10 stores in southwest Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
