Like peeling an onion, the Heer's Building at Park Central Square is slowly being revealed by Spirtas Wrecking Co. employees. The glass and plexiglass facade hides the old terra cotta, lower left. Above that is the escalator ridden with delight in bygone days by children and adults to the mezzanine. The general floor space stores used office furniture. Owner Warren Davis' plans for the seven-story building include restaurants and small shops on the first floor and office space on the second through seventh floors.
