|bold_on|GEORGIA ON HER MIND. Farewell and good luck to Marci Burdick, news director at KYTV. KY3 will say good-bye to a fine newswoman in June, when Burdick begins her official duties as general manager at WAGT-TV, an NBC affiliate in Augusta, Ga. The station shares ownership with KY3 under Shurz Communications. Mike Scott, KY3 general manager, made the announcement May 4. Burdick will travel between the two stations during May before officially beginning her new job in June. Burdick has been news director at KY3 since 1988, holding that position longer than anyone in the station's 47-year history. KY3 will begin its search to replace Burdick immediately. Scott said that Burdick will be missed. "She has certainly earned the opportunity to assume leadership of our sister station, WAGT-TV," Scott said in a release from KY3.|ret||ret||tab|
