GREAT SCOTT. Jericho Development LLC, owner of the 333 S. Jefferson building, is now a family-owned business. Melissa Scott, ASID, recently bought out David Kellet's 50 percent interest to become partners in Jericho with her husband, Daniel E. Scott, AIA, MBA. The Scotts also co-own The Design Agency, a commercial architecture and interior design firm. Daniel Scott and Kellett joined forces to form Jericho Development in 1997. A notable venture was the building at 333 S. Jefferson. The partners intended to remodel the existing building on that site, but Jericho's walls came a-tumbling down after a catastrophic fire. Architect Scott rose to the challenge, redesigning the building with contemporary flair while respecting its historic context. The building now houses The Design Agency on the upper level and the SMSU Art and Design Gallery on the lower level.
