The Building Owners and Managers Association International will host its biennial Medical Office Building & Healthcare Facilities Seminar June 20-22, just prior to the start of the asso- ciation's 95th annual convention in Chicago.
According to an announcement from the association, the seminar is a comprehensive educational program that will address several important issues and trends for professionals managing medical office buildings and health care facilities.
The seminar will feature the following topics: recapitalization; income and expense evaluation; partnering with health-care institutions; strategic planning; legal compliance issues; benchmarking and performance measurement techniques; and future trends. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour Northwestern Memorial Hospital's Galter Pavilion, and many opportunities have been scheduled to network with peers within the industry.
Medical facility owners, medical facility managers, health care senior executives, marketing and leasing professionals, medical clinic executives, developers, architects, physicians, physician practice managers and managers of Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO) and walk-in health care facility professionals are all encouraged to attend this seminar.
