The Food and Drug Administration issued a health alert about heartburn medication Zantac.
According to the alert, the drug contains low levels of a chemical called NDMA, which is linked to an increased risk of colon and uterine cancer.
A recall has not been issued as the FDA examines whether the low levels of NDMA pose a serious health risk.
