HBO to develop 'Game of Thrones' spinoffs

HBO announced it will release "Game of Thrones" spinoffs.

The main show is closing in on its final two seasons. Seven episodes will release this year, followed by six in 2018.

HBO has locked up deals with four writers who are each working with “Game of Thrones” author George R.R. Martin: Max Borenstein, Jane Goldman, Brian Helgeland and Carly Wray.
