The Home Builders Association of Greater Springfield's 2004 "Homebuilder Hunks" calendar is now available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting the HBA Charitable Foundation and the charities it serves. The HBA Foundation supports several local charities, including Habitat for Humanity and American Red Cross Disaster Relief. The foundation also provides scholarships for college and vocational students.
Calendars are available at the HBA office at 1200 E. Wooshurst, Ste. R-300 for $10 each.
Mail-in votes for the favorite photo in the calendar are being accepted until Dec. 31, and the "hunk" with the most mail-in votes will have $250 donated to the charity of his choice. The 2004 "hunks" are competing on behalf of the following charities: American Diabetes Association, Good Samaritan Boys Ranch, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Council of the Blind, Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks, Hospice, Developmental Center of the Ozarks, Little Heroes, Ronald McDonald House, The Humane Society and the Children's Miracle Network.
Only the mail-in ballots in the back of the calendar are valid for voting on a photo. The ballots also can be used to nominate HBA members for the 2005 calendar.
