HBA to showcase 8 residences for Parade of Homes

Home Builders Association of Great Springfield tomorrow launches its annual Parade of Homes, featuring eight residences this year ranging in price from nearly $175,000 to around $500,000.

The tour will showcase three homes each in Springfield and Nixa and one each in Strafford and Republic from 1-6 p.m. June 19-21 and June 26-28, according to HBA’s event magazine.

The homes, listed by approximate price, are:
  • 2352 S. Cedar Drive in Springfield’s Emerald Park subdivision, low $500,000 range, constructed by Doran Homes Inc.;
  • 3908 E. Brookdale Terrace in Springfield’s Bristol Park, over $350,000, by MGM Properties Inc.;
  • 808 E. Beaufort Drive in Nixa’s The Villages at Wicklow, $339,000, by MC Homes LLC;
  • 1365 S. Kings Cliff Court in Nixa’s Kelby Creek, $358,620, by Hawthorne Creek Homes LLC;
  • 1418 N. Wicklow Road in Nixa’s The Villages at Wicklow, $309,900, by Essick Builders LLC;
  • 3603 W. Wayland St. in Springfield’s Marlborough Manor, upper $200,000 range, by Robbins Create & Construct LLC;
  • 1357 S. Shirley Ave. in Republic’s White Oak, $195,000, by MGM Properties Inc.; and
  • 1937 N. Trellis Road in Strafford’s Pearson Park, $174,900, by Richland Home Inc..
One of MGM Properties’ two homes on the tour is this year’s St. Jude Dream Home. The house on Brookdale Terrace is in northeast Springfield’s Bristol Park. Tickets are $100 apiece to win the nearly 3,100-square-foot home, and proceeds go toward St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, according to DreamHome.StJude.org.

Tickets, which cost $5, can be purchased via HBA’s mobile app.

HBA, which showcased 14 homes last year, has been hosting the Parade of Homes since the organization was chartered in 1954, said Charlyce Ruth, CEO of the local Home Builders Association.[[In-content Ad]]
