Missouri Attorney General Josh Hawley is trailing Claire McCaskill in fundraising for their upcoming U.S. Senate race.
McCaskill ended March with $11.5 million in cash on hand. Hawley reported $2.1 million.
Fundraising during the first quarter was $3.9 million for McCaskill's campaign. Hawley posted $1.5 million during the same period.

A safe room and classroom addition at Willard Central Elementary School will be used by the music, arts and athletic programs for a district that had 4,536 students last year, according to Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education figures, but school officials say enrollment is projected to grow.
