Sen. Josh Hawley, R-Missouri, condemned Disney for the production of "Mulan."
Disney has come under fire for working with a Chinese bureau linked to Uyghur concentration camps during the filming of the movie.
Hawley accused Disney of "whitewashing" a genocide. The credits of the film thank the Turpan Municipal Bureau of Public Security, an organization linked to China’s campaign of oppression against the Uyghurs.
