Hasbro reports 14% bump in revenue

Driven by strong demand for Disney Princess, Frozen and Trolls dolls, Hasbro reported better-than-expected revenue and profits.

Revenue rose 14.2 percent to $1.7 billion, above the average analyst estimate of $1.6 billion.

Net income attributable to Hasbro increased to $257.8 million, or $2.03 per share, from $207.6 million, or $1.64 per share, a year earlier. Analysts expected $1.74 per share.
