Harvard University yesterday announced it would drop standardized test requirements for next year's undergraduate applications.
Officials with the university said the COVID-19 pandemic has created difficulty for students seeking to take the standardized tests.
A coalition of civil rights groups and education advocates are calling on standardized test scores to be removed from the process altogether. They say standardized test requirements unfairly penalize students of color.
