Harvard dining hall workers go on strike

Harvard University dining hall workers went on strike yesterday after months of negotiations failed to produce a new contract.

The workers are seeking affordable health care and sustainable incomes of at least $35,000 a year.

United Here Local 26, the union representing 750 food service workers at Harvard, is behind the first strike at the college in over 30 years.
