Description: The Hartville R-II School District’s Federal Emergency Management Agency shelter doubles as space for middle school athletics, multipurpose activities and performances. Additionally, support spaces are being added for the band and choir areas adjacent to the new FEMA shelter. Design officials say the main facade will be unified with a simplified concept enhancing the view of the school and aiding visitors with accessible routes. The federal share of the Hartville project is just over $2 million, according to a news release from FEMA.
