Harter House - Hollister

Posted online
A $1.6 million Harter House grocery store will anchor Hollister Town Plaza, being built by James and Justin Gage near the new Highway 65 interchange in Hollister. Harter House will cover 26,000 square feet, about double the size of the local chain’s Republic Road location.

Harold Gray of Missouri Supermarket Builders Inc. is the general contractor on the project, and Alan Bates of Bates & Associates Inc. is the architect, according to co-owner Butch Bettlach. Bettlach and his wife, Lisa, own the location in Kimberling City. They also co-own the Strafford location with their son.

This will be the fifth Harter House store, including the new store under construction in Springfield. (For more information on the new Springfield location, see page 58.)
