Harriet Tubman to replace Andrew Jackson on $20 bill

Abolitionist Harriet Tubman will replace former President Andrew Jackson on the front of the $20 bill.

Jackson will be featured on the back of the bill alongside an image of the White House. The bill will be unveiled in 2020, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Treasury also will issue new $10 and $5 bills.

On the back of the $10 will be leaders of the suffrage movement — Sojourner Truth, Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul and Lucretia Mott.

The back of the $5 bill also will be redesigned to include opera singer Marian Anderson, first lady Eleanor Roosevelt and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr.
