Project description: The renovation of Hammons Student Center on the campus of Missouri State University commenced with the dismantling of an existing storage facility to transform the space into a new locker room. Old bleachers around the volleyball court were removed, project officials say, and a new enclosed weight room was constructed featuring storefront glass, a roll-up door, mounted fans, mirrors and athletic flooring. Upper-deck courts were renovated with new flooring that includes striping for basketball, pickleball and volleyball. The project architect is Esterly Schneider & Associates Inc.
