Project description: Hammons Field, home of the Springfield Cardinals, is getting a renovation to its existing press-level suites to include outdoor seating. Upgrades throughout the stadium are being funded by a $3.5 million allocation from the state of Missouri. Cardinals GM Dan Reiter said press-level renovations are expected to be completed by June 1. Upgrades completed this spring as part of the total renovation project include a new audio system along with revamped party decks, a modified Springnet Champions Club, a new fan experience area along the third base side of the main concourse, the Brightspeed eSports Gaming Zone in partnership with Contender eSports, new carpet in the home clubhouse and upgraded roofing and brick at buildings in the park. The project architect is nForm Architecture LLC. Engineers are Mettemeyer Engineering, structural, and Interpres Building Solutions, mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
