'Hamilton' creator cracks down on scalper bots

Fresh off of his "Hamilton" success, creator Lin-Manuel Miranda is working to stop scalper bots.

Miranda and Sen. Charles Schumer are teaming to promote the Better Online Ticket Sales Act of 2016. Beyond Broadway shows, it also applies to concerts.

The bill is designed to fine people who use software that snatches up tickets online before real people can. The tickets are then sold on resale websites at inflated prices.
