Kansas City-based Hallmark Cards Inc. made a pair of announcements to employees on Monday that will result in a reduction of as many as 250 positions.
The Kansas City Business Journal reports the company plans to exit the party business and streamline its development process for greeting cards.
Hallmark reported consolidated revenue of $4 billion in 2012, down from $4.1 billion the previous year.
