Hallmark cuts 47 jobs

Nineteen positions at Kansas City-based Hallmark Cards Inc.'s headquarters and 28 field representative positions are being eliminated in a reorganization of the company’s Gold Crown operations.

Hallmark employs some 3,200 at its headquarters.

According to the Kansas City Star, there are 2,400 Gold Crown stores nationwide, including 391 company-owned locations. No store closings are expected.
