Hackers steal $600M in crypto

Hackers have stolen more than $600 million worth of cryptocurrency, CNET reports.

The cause was a cyberattack on popular blockchain video game Axie Infinity. The Ronin network is used as a bridge between the video game and blockchains, so users can transfer crypto in and out of the game.

The hack took place March 23.
