Guy Fieri restaurant coming to Branson Landing

Posted online

Another celebrity chef is looking to make his mark at Branson Landing.

Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar is scheduled to open in summer 2020 at the shopping destination, according to a news release. It’s a partnership between the celebrity chef — known for the “Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives” show on The Food Network — and Tennessee-based Face Amusement Group’s hospitality subsidiary.

“I’m all about great food, good times and big fun, so to be able to partner up with folks like Face Hospitality is a perfect opportunity to bring it all together in one place: Branson,” Fieri said in the release.

The nearly 8,000-square-foot restaurant is the fifth Branson concept for Face Amusement Group. Earlier this year, the company announced a new ride and restaurant at its Branson Coaster development called Branson Sawmill. Face Amusement also operates The Mirror Maize, 7D Dark Ride Adventure and Arcade City at Branson Landing.

Guy Fieri’s Branson Kitchen and Bar’s menu will include burgers, wings, sandwiches and specialty cocktails, according to the release. A Branson Landing spokesperson could not be reached for comment by deadline on where the restaurant would operate in the shopping center.

GuyFieri.com lists 17 restaurants named after the chef.

The Fieri announcement follows the September opening of Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen at Branson Landing. The celebrity’s restaurant is located in nearly 16,000 square feet of a roughly 19,000-square-foot newly constructed building at Branson Landing’s north end, according to past Springfield Business Journal reporting.
