Springfield-based Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. (Nasdaq: GFED) opened its third branch in Joplin.
The launch of the Guaranty Bank branch at 1936 Range Line Road, Ste. A, comes on the heels of the company’s recent branding conversion of seven former Hometown Bank branches that it purchased. Two were in Joplin.
Guaranty Bank first entered Joplin in 2016 with a loan production office. That office has closed with the opening of the new Range Line Road branch, according to a news release.
“Our new retail banking center at 20th and Range Line provides our customers with the latest in banking technology and accessibility,” said Jeff Williams, Guaranty Bank’s Joplin region president, in the release, noting the “design and function is unique to this area, while having three full-service locations in Joplin provides our customers with even greater access.”
Among its technological features, the branch has drive-thru video banking, a touchscreen TV and flatscreen TVs in the interior and exterior.
Guaranty now has 18 branches in Greene, Christian, Jasper, McDonald and Newton counties, as well as a loan production office in Webster County, according to the release.
While a disruption in international trade has the capacity to hurt local farmers and ranchers, beef producers are having a good go of things at the moment.
