Guaranty, Great Southern announce dividends

Springfield-based Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Guaranty Bank, March 18 announced a quarterly dividend of 16 cents per share on more than 2.8 million shares of its common stock, to be paid April 14 to stockholders of record March 30.
The dividend is the 21st consecutive dividend paid since Guaranty Federal Bancshares was formed in Springfield in December 1997. During that time the company has paid nine semi-annual dividends followed by 12 consecutive quarterly dividends.
Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. (Nasdaq: GFED) has seven branches and 19 automated teller machines in Greene and Christian counties through its subsidiary, Guaranty Bank. The holding company reported $431.5 million in total assets as of Sept. 30. Company stock closed April 6 at $22.39 per share.

Great Southern
The Board of Directors of Great Southern Bancorp Inc. March 16 declared a first-quarter dividend of 12 cents per share. The dividend is payable April 18 to shareholders of record April 1.
With headquarters in Springfield, Great Southern offers banking, investments, insurance and travel services. The company has total assets of $1.85 billion.
Great Southern operates 31 retail banking branches and more than 150 ATMs throughout southwest and central Missouri. The company also serves lending needs through loan production offices in Overland Park, Kan., Rogers, Ark., and St. Louis. Company stock (Nasdaq: GSBC) closed April 6 at $31.96 per share.
