Second-quarter net income rose 9 percent over the same quarter in 2005, from $1.45 million to $1.58 million.
Net interest income increased 13 percent over the prior year’s quarter, from $3.54 million to $4.04 million.
Guaranty Bank has eight locations and 20 automated teller machines in Greene and Christian counties. Shares of the holding company’s stock (Nasdaq: GFED) closed July 14 at $28.90, compared to $28.33 the day before and a 52-week range of $23.02 to $30.59.
