Guaranty Bank president elected to statewide bank board

Shaun Burke, president and CEO of Guaranty Bank, was elected as a regional director of the Missouri Bankers Association. He will represent the Ozark Region for the board, according to a Guaranty Bank news release.

The Missouri Bankers Association’s membership comprises commercial banks and savings and loan associations statewide, representing more than 2,000 locations and more than 30,000 bank employees. The organization’s board of directors is responsible for policymaking for the association and its subsidiaries. Board members also are responsible for finances, education and member services for the association, the release said.

Burke has more than 30 years of banking experience and has served as Guaranty Bank’s president and CEO since 2003. He also serves as board president of the Springfield Business Development Corp., which is an economic development subsidiary of the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce.[[In-content Ad]]
