Guaranty Bank declares dividend of 18 cents per share

Springfield-based Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Guaranty Bank, on Friday declared a quarterly dividend of 18 cents per share.

The dividend is on 2.61 million shares of the company’s common stock and is payable Jan. 15 to shareholders of record Jan. 4.

Guaranty has paid 32 consecutive dividends since the holding company was formed in December 1997. The last quarter’s dividend also was 18 cents per share.

Shares (NasdaqGM: GFED) closed Wednesday at $28.75, compared to a 52-week range of $27.05 to $30.85.

Guaranty Bank has eight branches in Greene and Christian counties and loan production offices in Wright, Webster and Howell counties. The bank plans to open an Ozark location by the end of the year, a Nixa location early next year and three other branches within five years.[[In-content Ad]]
