The bank’s newest branch, 709 W. Mount Vernon, opened Aug. 1. It is Guaranty Bank’s second location in Nixa.
The Nixa Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon Sept. 21 during which it will collect donations for Nixa High School Project Graduation and the Nixa Community Foundation.
A grand opening celebration will be held 8:30 a.m.–2 p.m. Sept. 24. The Nixa Volunteer Fire Department will serve hot dogs and drinks 11 a.m.–1 p.m., and door prizes will be given away.
The 3,200-square-foot bank has a full-service lobby with four drive-through lanes and a drive-through automated teller machine. Guaranty Bank has seven locations, and an eighth is planned to open in January 2006 on Republic Road in Springfield.
