Guaranty announces 16.5-cent dividend

Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc., the holding company for Springfield-based Guaranty Bank, today declared a first-quarter dividend of 16.5 cents.

The dividend represents no change from Guaranty’s fourth-quarter 2005 dividend and is payable April 14 to stockholders of record March 30.

Guaranty Federal has paid 25 consecutive dividends since it was formed in 1997, including nine consecutive semi-annual dividends and 16 consecutive quarterly dividends.

Guaranty Bank has seven locations in Greene and Christian counties. Shares of the holding company’s stock (Nasdaq: GFED) closed March 16 at $29.03, compared to a 52-week range of $21.93 to $29.30.[[In-content Ad]]
