Pharmaceutical company GSK reached a $20 million deal with 23andMe Holding Co.
The agreement gives GSK access to DNA data from the approximately 80% of 23andMe gene-testing customers who agreed to share their information for research.
It expands upon an existing five-year deal under which GSK can access anonymized DNA data.
