GSB automates small-business lending

Posted online
Springfield-based Great Southern Bank has chosen BizMark loan software to automate its small-business lending processes.

The system, created by Texas-based Cypress Software Systems LP, will go live this month at Great Southern’s 73 banking centers in Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska, according to a Cypress news release.

“We had used another small business lending system for more than five years, but turned to Cypress’ BizMark because it provided a more user-friendly and intuitive solution that will increase our small-business lending efficiency,” Alan Perryman, Great Southern’s small-business banking manager said, in the release.

The software gathers principal and financial statement data; retrieves and interprets consumer and business credit reports; performs ratio analysis; and scores the results, the release said.
