Child, consumer and privacy advocacy groups claim YouTube illegally collects data from kids.
In a complaint filed Monday, 20 groups asked the Federal Trade Commission to investigate YouTube for allegations of violating the Child Online Privacy Protection Act.
The act limis how companies can collect data about children under the age of 13.
