Missouri Workers Power has submitted signatures in hopes of forcing a vote on the use of public funding for a new Kansas City Royals stadium.
The group reportedly submitted more than 4,500 signatures.
If taken to a vote, residents would have the say over the use of up to $600 million in public funding for the $1.9 billion stadium.
