Group formed in bid for TikTok's US assets

Billionaire Frank McCourt has formed People’s Bid for TikTok in an effort to buy the U.S. assets of TikTok.

McCourt is partnering with his nonprofit, Project Liberty, and investors such as “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary on the proposal to acquire TikTok's U.S. assets.

TikTok is facing a looming ban in the United States, and the Supreme Court is expected to hear arguments today in the case.
