Struggling grocery store chain Marsh announced yesterday it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
The company plans to keep its 44 remaining stores operational.
However, the 86-year-old chain's stores could still close if the company doesn't find a buyer.
Marsh this week notified the Indiana Department of Workforce Development it may be forced to lay off 1,535 workers at stores statewide.
