Greitens chooses Missouri COO

Gov. Eric Greitens has selected a partner at a global management consulting firm as Missouri’s chief operating officer.

Drew Erdmann of New York City-based McKinsey and Co. was chosen.

According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Greitens created the COO position through executive order. The COO, who will report to Greitens, is supposed to work with state agencies to cut redundant programs and improve efficiency.
