Greitens appoints 2 public safety officials

Gov. Eric Greitens yesterday appointed to new public safety officials.

He named Ernie Rhodes director of the State Emergency Management Agency and Tim Bean state fire marshal. Rhodes is currently fire chief for the West County EMS and Fire Protection District, while Bean is fire chief for the West Plains Fire Department.

Greitens made the announcement during a visit to the St. Louis Fire Academy.
