The director of Greenwood Laboratory School is set to retire from the Missouri State University-affiliated private K-12 school after leading it for four years.
Ron Snodgrass is slated to retire from his role at Greenwood at the end of June 2025, said Barri Tinkler, dean of the MSU College of Education, via email.
"There is currently a search underway for the new director who would begin on July 1, 2025," Tinkler said.
The Greenwood director position has been listed on MSU's website.
Tinkler became permanent director of Greenwood in summer 2022 after being named to the role on an interim basis a year earlier, according to past reporting. Snodgrass, who has more than 30 years of education experience, started at Greenwood in 2015 as assistant director. He previously was a teacher and administrator at Springfield Public Schools for 29 years.
