Greene County seeks flood damage reports

Posted online
Greene County property and business owners are being asked to report damage from this week’s severe flooding.

The county is seeking reports of damage to residential, commercial or agricultural property, including structural damage and damaged items within flood-affected structures, according to a county news release.

The Springfield-Greene County Office of Emergency Management has activated a flood damage hotline at (417) 829-6200. It will be staffed 8 a.m.–4 p.m. today and Monday. Reports also can be submitted online at www.greenecountyoem.org.

The reports will be turned over to state and federal emergency management officials to support requests for assistance, which if approved could provide funding for residents and businesses.[[In-content Ad]]
