The brothers stopped in Springfield on June 20 amid a Midwest tour to shoot footage for “EcoHeartland,” a documentary exploring various environmentally friendly projects in the nation’s heartland. The two also toured City Utilities’ Noble Hill Landfill Renewable Energy Center, which captures methane gas from the city’s landfill to create electricity, as well as CU’s biodiesel transit system and the Southwest Power Station.
