Greece makes crucial payment

Greece has made a crucial payment to the International Monetary Fund, the Greek finance ministry said Thursday.

With the 460 million euro ($497 million) payment, Greece bought itself time to secure the final portion of its 240 billion euro international bailout, according to CNNMoney.

The payment dismisses rumors that Greece did not have enough cash to pay on time.
