The Greater Missouri Leadership Foundation named former state Rep. Katie Steele Danner as its next executive director.
She's scheduled to succeed the organization's current leader, Columbia businesswoman Jan Grossmann, on Jan. 1, 2020. Grossmann is retiring.
The foundation works to support women leaders and create mentorship relationships for them.
"I have seen firsthand, through my involvement in Greater Missouri for decades, the impact that this organization has had on our state," Danner said.
